Petition against Japan Sado Mine listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Japanese government is pushing to get the Sado mine, the site of forced labor for Koreans during the Japanese colonial period, designated as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. However, they are trying to hide the history of the perpetrators of forced mobilization by doing so.
To rally against this, I would like to launch a signature campaign for all citizens of the Republic of Korea. In particular, the results of this petition will be delivered to UNESCO to inform the world about historical distortion perpetrated by the Japanese and play an important role in preventing the Sado Mine from being designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We ask for your active participation. Thank you.
