It was drawn in a virtual reality space. The tree is on a promenade on a lazy afternoon. For me, nature is the material of my work. And I am telling the story of nature that I want to convey in it. There was a large Cornus Officinalis in the country house where I was born and raised. The tree grew strong by the well. It is known as a tree that is said to be the first to bloom yellow flowers in spring. In the place where the flowers have fallen, long green fruits hang all summer long. It is inconspicuous as if it is hidden in the leaves, but when the autumn leaves are picked up and the leaves are blown away by the cold wind, the red fruits stand out clearly. Even if the red fruits are covered with white snow, they bear the weight and are densely hung, making them valuable food for winter birds. And the thinly peeled bark of the tree is impressive. The taste of the fruit is slightly astringent, sweet and sour. When the elongated fruits ripen in red in the fall, the hard seeds are removed and only the flesh is dried in the sun to be used as a nourishing tonic, weak body, back pain, hemostasis, and antipyretic. Steamed ones are used as tonics, back pain, dizziness, tinnitus, frequent urination, and nocturia, or to make medicinal liquor. This tree, which I like, is beautiful to look at and has many benefits.
